Humanitarian of Peace Award

The 2009 Humanitarian Award was given to the children of Aschiana in Afghanistan. The children of Aschiana submitted their vision of “Peace in My Community” despite the very challenging daily lives they lead in war torn Afghanistan. Each piece of artwork is an expression of hope and a tribute to peace which lives within the heart of each child.
